This is the story of a U.S. Army veteran who went to Hanoi forty years after returning home after serving in the Vietnam War. R. Lee Mahee was a full-time faculty member at a historically black university that offered classes in Hanoi to students from various countries—even Communist ones like Russia and China. When he was asked to teach an MBA program there, he agreed.
